About Us
Team Jump Start is a non profit, travel, level 3, Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball program.
We offer basketball practices, training and competition for children. We have highly skilled and experienced coaches and trainers.
Team Jump Start currently has three boys basketball teams ages ranging from 13-16u. Next season starting September 2021, we will be expanding to boys and girls 7-18u.
Team Jump Start also will hosts AAU sanctioned basketball tournaments in Hillsborough, NC.
About Me
De'Ja Alston
De'Ja Alston is a licensed teacher, mentor and coach. She has been coaching AAU basketball for 5 years. Originally from Baltimore Maryland, she has been in North Carolina for three years and is eager to bring programs to the youth in cities like Durham. Team Jump Start AAU basketball is the first of many initiatives that she hopes to bring to the area. |
AAU Basketball
AAU basketball registration for children includes practices, training and opportunities to compete in AAU tournaments in North Carolina and surrounding areas.
Team Jump start also hosts AAU sanctioned events in North Carolina that are open to all AAU basketball teams to register and compete for a fee.
